"We have had a lovely stay and you have made us so welcome. The food has been delicious and the small touches such as fresh flowers, bottled water and fruit in our room have been appreciated. The bedroom is comfortable and spacious and we have slept well."
Rod, Catherine and Hamish, Bicester, UK
"We have had a very enjoyable twelve day stay at Yangsum Farm. It is certainly an idyllic spot and provided just the contrast we needed from the heat, noise and hassle of the plains. It proved very suitable for a two year old with the animals of the farm to observe and various short walks to attractive picnic spots. Thanks to all of you for being so friendly, hospitable and accommodating. We will certainly recommend it to friends in the future."
Fi and Gin, New Zealand
"This wonderful place exceeds all expectations. We wouldn't want it any other way. The hospitality is fabulous and accommodation, food, ambience etc absolutely brilliant. Keep it as it is!"
Friedrich and Silvia, Munchen, Germany
"We enjoyed our stay a lot. I hope to see you again. Let's stay in contact!"
Ada and Anne, Utrecht, the Netherlands
"Our room was above expectation and so was the food. Never have we eaten in such a short time so many unknown vegetables. And we liked them all! We wish Dorjee, Thendup, Pema and Hishey all the success that is possible to run this beautiful homestay. We thank you very much for your kindness and good care!!"

"What a great surprise to discover Yangsum Farm in the beautiful scenery of Rinchenpong! Arriving here by chance, we spent two marvellous days in your company and in the new guestroom. Hope to come back soon for a new set of great experiences."
Ryan and Annonciade, New Delhi, India
"We spent two marvellous days in this wonderful and nice place. Views of the mountains, Chinese style rooms and so tasty food. Everything is enjoyable. I will recommend the walk to the monastery as a must. Thank you very much for your hospitality!"
Simon and Sue, New Delhi, India
"What a peaceful place - and so lucky the clouds cleared to reveal the spectacular mountain views. The walk with Thendup to the monastery is well worth the effort!"
Claire, Eire
"Lovely escape from the "Cutta", Three days was not enough so will have to come back. Thanks for opening up your home to us and making us feel part of your family."
Sarah & Mike, Berkshire, UK
"Despite having stayed here only two nights we have been made to feel part of the family. The hospitality has been outstanding and the cooking exceptional. Even the dogs have made us welcome and Ruby is always on hand to lick your toes! From our brief excursions into the hills it is obvious that we have only scratched the surface of this outstanding area. To have access to local knowledge and the opportunity to meet the 'extended' family has enhanced our Sikkim experience. We shall return and stay longer next time."
Margaret, Wales, UK
"An oasis of peace and beauty. A real escape from the noise and rush of city life. Thank you very much for the warmth of welcome and friendship given so freely. The mountains were spectacular - well worth the wait but all the other experiences which we have enjoyed are equally important - the cloud swirling up from the valley, the rain, and the thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon. The walk to the Old Monastery is lovely - though a little steep for me, a 'non-walker', but I am so glad I made the effort and finished the course via the old heritage house. So what more can one say - thank you again for your generous hospitality, your kindness and genuine concern to make our stay happy and memorable. Look after your little bit of heaven on earth. Thank you for sharing it with us. Diolch yn fawr."
Heather, Berkshire, UK
"Thank you all for the lovely time that we have spent with you. We had heard so much about you all and your home. It has been a real pleasure finally to be able to come and join you in person."
Wendy, Oxfordshire, UK
"This has been a really beautiful stay - waking up in the mornings to the sound of the birds, the views of the snowy mountains and the valleys and forests. I feel I've got a real idea of how interesting Sikkim is as well, with our visit to the monasteries and ancient lepcha house and it has been lovely staying in your home. So thank you Tashi, Pema and Dorjee for such a very enjoyable stay."
Anne, East Sussex, UK
"Thank you Thendup, Dorjee and Pema for a lovely few days in beautiful surroundings. Our walk to the monastery and ancestors house yesterday was the most enjoyable day of our holiday and hearing the monks chanting was a very memorable experience. And of course I'll never forget the awesome and wonderful snowy mountains. You have looked after us with great kindness."
